Bring It On

This past Tuesday I went to go see the musical Bring It On at the Hobby Center downtown. I went as a media representative for Dish Houston, thank you!  I was a little skeptical about a musical version of it because I saw the first two movies and I was a competitive cheerleader for 5 years. I was blown away! The skript is hilarious and the music was actually really good. Not like Glee where they randomly insert popular music that doesn't really fit the story line (sorry Glee lovers).

Here's the look I wore to the theater (excuse the hair tie, I didn't realize I left it on until after I left for the theater) You can also read the review I wrote here. Enjoy!

Thanks to my uncle for all the pictures!

Stephanie, the DIY was quick and easy, actually one of my first sewing projects really. I found the fabric at a warehouse here in Houston that sells mainly to designers but is open to the public. I found that the warehouse was about half the cost of going to the fabric store.
